Meditation and Mindfulness Classes

Helen works together with Lisa McAuliffe, an experienced Yoga and Pilates teacher to run weekly Meditation and Mindfulness classes in Thames Ditton, Surrey.

For centuries meditation has been used to develop awareness and calm in a busy and stressful world. Studies consistently show that regular meditation benefits our physical and mental well being.
Guided meditation classes will explore relaxation, mindfulness, focus and balance, giving you the time and space to unwind stress and tension and feel grounded, peaceful and energised. Classes are not associated with any religion. The sessions are suitable for beginners and those who have done some meditation before.

VENUE: The Guide Hut, Church Walk, Thames Ditton.

All Classes & Courses must be booked in advance as class sizes are limited. As well as classes we have Meditation and Mindfulness sessions, Holistic Health videos, Yoga and Pilates Classes available on our online TV platform, there are over 250 videos and new content is added every month. Online Mindfulness Workshop / 3 Weeks

Mindfulness is a simple and powerful way of training our attention, it is about becoming aware and present in the here and now. Mindfulness can be used to combat stress, improve our health and the quality of our lives as well as inducing deep relaxation and calm. This 3 week online course will introduce you to various techniques including breath work, meditation and postural development, showing you how to incorporate these practices in to your daily life. The course consists of a combination of teaching, mindfulness exercises and guided meditations.

Introduction To Reflexology With Helen

This session covers the history, theory & philosophy of reflexology plus gentle & effective techniques to relax the body. You will also learn how to carry out a basic treatment.

Introduction To Reiki 

Reiki is a hands-on healing system deeply rooted in eastern traditions. Healing energy is transmitted through the palms of the hands to facilitate balance in the body & mind. Whether you want to boost your energy levels, calm your system, have a better nights sleep or provide healing for someone else, Reiki can become an important part of your day. On this workshop Helen will look at the history & theory of Reiki & you will learn a short & simple Reiki routine that you can use on yourself or on family & friends.

Menopause Workshop

Suitable for peri-menopausal & menopausal women, this workshop will provide you with tools to help you. It will look at eating & exercising right, de-cluttering your mind, the importance of relaxation & how to find it & how essential oils, alternative therapies & massage pressure points can help. Pre-Natal Workshop

Exercise & holistic therapies during pregnancy can be beneficial to both Mum & Baby however certain activities need to be adapted to make them suitable. Learn the recommended adaptations to diet & exercise along with massage & relaxation techniques to ease the aches & pains related to pregnancy & prepare your body for the birth of your baby

Post-Natal Workshop

Learn how to use exercise & holistic therapies to help return the body to its pre-pregnancy state & enable you to remain calm & relaxed.
